Red song chorus 唱红歌
A total of 90 ministers and vice-ministers sang in a red song chorus in Beijing on Thursday to celebrate the upcoming 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
九十名部级和副部级干部本周四在北京举办红歌合唱，庆祝即将到来的建党九十周年。
文中的red song chorus就是指“唱红歌”，red song就是“红色歌曲”。相关的说法还有red tour（红色旅游）、red resources（红色资源）、red relics（红色遗迹）等等。类似的活动都有助于开展patriotic education（爱国主义教育）。
Chorus指的是“合唱曲”，比如male/mixed chorus（男声/混声合唱），也可以用来表示合唱团、歌咏队，类似于choir。如果是很多人齐声说、异口同声地说，则称为in chorus，比如：All the students replied in chorus to the teacher's question.（所有学生齐声回答老师的问题。）
