美的收购库卡95%股份
China's home appliance manufacturer Midea has said that it's taking a 95 percent holding in German robotics maker Kuka.
中国家电生产商美的集团表示,美的将收购德国机器人生产商库卡95%的股份。
Midea will take more than 37.6 million shares, almost 94.6 percent of Kuka after the bid is settled.
According to the company, Kuka shareholders who have not yet tendered their shares, will be unable sell their stake to Midea now as the bid has expired.
Midea announced the bid in June, offering to pay 115 euros per share. It held a 13.5 percent stake in Kuka before the bid.
To alleviate concerns over the takeover, Midea has pledged to maintain Kuka's independence, and has no plans to seek a domination agreement or delist the company.
It says it will not change the headquarters nor reduce the workforce.
