Wto开始审查中国的贸易政策

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has started a regular review of China's trade policy in Geneva.

世界贸易组织已经开始对中国的贸易政策进行定期检查。

WTO members will examine China's trade policy and practices over the past two years.

Wang Shouwen, head of the Chinese delegation and China's Vice Minister of Commerce, briefed trade representatives on China's economic development, and noted China has always fulfilled its duties and obligations as a WTO member.

Wang says China will remain engaged in this role to propel the multilateral development within the WTO.

"China will continue to support and safeguard the multilateral trading system, and we will help push forward the DDA negotiation and help deal with this important system of the WTO towards greater balance, win-for-all, and inclusiveness.”

China, a member of the WTO since 2001, is subject to such reviews every two years because of the size of its economy.
