Data shows that General Motors and its Chinese joint ventures delivered a record 3.6 million vehicles in China last year, up over 5 percent from the previous high in 2014.

The Detroit-based automaker said in its latest monthly report that it sold nearly 450-thousand cars in China in the last month of 2015, up 14 percent year on year.
GM is planning to introduce 13 new and refreshed models in the Chinese market this year, including the Cadillac CT6 to be launched later this month.
The company has 11 joint ventures, two wholly-owned foreign enterprises and 60-thousand employees in China.
