To celebrate the 25th anniversary of perhaps the world's most popular sitcom, Friends will hit big screens across the United States this fall, reported Forbes on Monday.

12 fan-favorite episodes that have been "remastered in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative" will be screened in over 1,000 movie theaters across the country - with four episodes shown each day on September 23 and 28, as well as October 2, Fathom Events announced Monday.
What's more, each screening will include never-before-seen Friends footage and exclusive interviews.
Tickets for "Friends 25th: The One with the Anniversary" will be available on the official website of Fathom Events on Friday.
The 10-season sitcom first aired on NBC on September 22, 1994 and quickly became one of the most popular television series of all time with a strong cast lineup of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
