Oct. 4 - An ongoing art show is adding more colour to the already-festive Beijing, bringing people a feast for the eyes during the weeklong National Day holiday.

The 9th Beijing International Art Expo, themed “art and harmony – taste and share,” is being held at the China International Trade Center.

Some 300 galleries from over 10 countries and regions, including China, the United States, France, Japan and Russia, are participating in the show, with a total of about 10,000 pieces of artwork.

Foreign artwork accounts for more than a third of the total, including impressionist paintings from the US.
