Chinese singer and actor Nicholas Tse's popular food travelogue reality program -"Chef Nic" is set to be adapted into a movie.

The cooking show's co-producer Emperor Motion Pictures has announced that the big screen adaptation will be a 4D movie and will be directed by WaiMan Yip.
Besides Nicholas Tse, big names such as actor Ge You, actress Tang Yan and K-pop band CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa are also set to join the cast.
The movie will tell the story of a local chef in southern China's Guangzhou city who competes with a celebrity chef from France for the ultimate crown of global top chef.
The movie is scheduled to start filming in April and hit theaters next January.
