中国爱乐乐团将在古巴演出
One of China's foremost orchestral ensembles, the China Philharmonic, has travelled to Cuba for a musical collaboration with the Cuba Philharmonic Orchestra.
中国最著名的管弦乐团之一，中国爱乐乐团已经奔赴古巴与古巴爱乐乐团进行合作演出。
Their well-received concerts in Havana included Dvorak's much-loved New World Symphony, which draws on North American and European influences and includes perhaps one of the most famous passages of music ever written.
The programme included works by Russian composer Mihail Glinka, and Cuban pianist Isabel Mesa also performed.
The China Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in the year 2,000. Since then, the group has performed extensively at home and in over 30 countries abroad.
It has explored a varied programme of music with global influences, as well as delighting audiences with Chinese repertoire, and collaborating with some of the leading international names in classical music.
The orchestra's current tour has also included concerts in the United States of America and Canada, and has featured the US premiere of Chen Yi's Four Spirits for Piano and Orchestra, with Clara Yang as the soloist.
