中国产列车在孟买使用四年无重大故障

Subway trains built in China have passed a major milestone, having run over six million kilometers in four years without a significant mechanical failure on one of the world's busiest subway lines in Mumbai, India.

中国产地铁列车已取得重大里程碑,四年内在印度孟买一条世界最繁忙的地铁线上运行600万公里没有出现重大机械故障。

The official Weibo account of China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission cited local media in India as reporting that the 16 subway trains are carrying some 400,000 passengers each day on Mumbai's subway Line 1.

The trains went into service back in 2014. Built by CRRC in Nanjing, they were the first trains to have been exported to India from China.

Trains manufactured in China are also running on subway lines in other cities across India, such as New Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon.
