Plans are well underway for a new musical fountain, shooting more than 200 meters into the sky, the equivalent to a 70 story building.
It'll be created in the Chaotianmen area of the city, on the Yuzhong peninsular overlooking the confluence of the Jialing and Yangtze rivers, which is already a favorite tourism hotspot.
The project has been designed and will be built by Arcplus Group PLC, which has its South West China HQ in the city.
Vice-general Manager of the company, Guo Wei, revealed the feature would include five different-size fountains. The main one will be a 208-meter ultra-high fountain, with four smaller fountains of around 108 meters, which will change shape in time to music.
