A new direct flight linking China and Spain has been launched.

The flight connects Sichuan's capital Chengdu with Madrid.
A one-way flight will take around 13 hours.
This is the first direct flight from Sichuan to Spain, and the 7th to Europe.
China's Capital Airlines has also launched a direct flight connecting Chengdu with Dubai.
Chengdu now offers 95 international and regional flights.
