An official made the remarks after local media reported that an unusual emergency meeting of the Queen's most senior aides was convened, which has sparked speculation about the health of the 91-year-old monarchy and her husband Prince Philip, who is 96 next month.
An emergency meeting of royal household staff has been called, but there is "no cause for alarm," the official said.
