重庆大学学生减肥即可获零花钱
Students at southwest China's Chongqing University could get pocket-money for hitting their weightloss goals.
中国重庆大学的学生如果达到减肥目标即可获得零花钱。
The offer was made by the school's student union, who launched on Thursday a one-month campaign called "You Lose Weight, I Pay the Bill," to encourage students on the campus to stay in shape amid the school year.
A report from "The Chongqing Morning Post" says that over 400 students have signed up to participate in the fitness effort.
According to the rules of the campaign, the amount of money a student can receive depends on the weight he or she can lose between one month. Both weight measurements before and after the campaign will be done on the same scale.
If a student loses less than 2.5 kilograms, he or she will get 10 yuan for each half-kilogram.
If he or she loses between 2.5 to 5 kilos, the bonus will be 20 yuan per half-kilo.
And if the difference surpasses 5 kilos, the bonus will be 40 yuan per half-kilo.
Additional prizes are available to students that lose the most weight, like an iPad or small freezer.
Likewise, students that start running early in the morning will receive a five-yuan voucher for breakfast at the school cafeteria. If he or she continues running in the mornings for a week, the person will also be given a lot of milk as a prize.
