诺奖得主库尔特・维特里希成为上海永久公民

Kurt Wüthrich, a Swiss scientist and the winner of Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2002, has become a permanent resident of Shanghai.

Wuthrich earned his Nobel Prize for developing nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to help ascertain the size and structure of biological macromolecules.
 
The 79-year-old received his permanent residence card at Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration Bureau on Monday, April 2, 2018.
 
Wüthrich, who works at Shanghai Science and Technology University, is the first ever Nobel laureate to gain a Chinese permanent residence card, a Chinese green card.
