博柏利产品在中国降价

British fashion brand Burberry has lowered its prices in China by as much as four percent.

英国时尚品牌博柏利在中国的产品售价降低了差不多4%。

The reductions could help to further boost demand for Burberry products in China, a market which the firm already credits as being a key driver for its global growth.

Burberry is following in the footsteps of other Western designer labels with the move.

For example, earlier in July we reported that luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton is lowering its prices in China by as much as five percent.

In a statement issued to the newspaper Jing Daily, Louis Vuitton revealed:

"In consideration of the recent cuts on import duties and value-added tax, Louis Vuitton China has decided to mark down prices on a wide range of items to fully support the government's efforts to reduce the price premium for luxury goods sold in China and overseas. Louis Vuitton China will continue to support the government's efforts."

Prices have already been amended on the fashion brand's website in China.
