China's Finance Ministry says the country will step up its crackdown on companies or individuals involved in illegal online lotteries.

In the new round of action, the ministry will coordinate with public security departments and banks to monitor lottery companies and individual agents.

Last month, police busted 28 online gambling gangs. More than 200 suspects were arrested.
