卡梅伦：非常期待习近平十月的国事访问
British Prime Minister David Cameron has told visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that Britain is looking forward to the state visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping in October.
英国首相戴维·卡梅伦对来访的中国外交部长王毅表示，英国政府非常期待今年十月中国国家主席习近平的国事访问。
He says Britain wants to work closely with China to use the visit to show the world the fruitful results and bright prospects of bilateral cooperation.
Cameron has pledged to encourage Chinese investments in Britain in such areas as high-speed railways, nuclear power, aviation and telecommunication.
For his part, Wang Yi called for the two countries to explore new growth points in their comprehensive strategic partnership, particularly in industrial capacity and financial cooperation.
Both have vowed to make joint efforts to make the year 2015 a "golden year" in the development of the bilateral relationship.
On Monday, Wang Yi inaugurated China's latest consulate general in Belfast, the third in the UK following those in Manchester and Edinburgh.
