Twin footballers start trial training overseas
| Oct. 24 - Sun Xiang and Sun Ji, twin brothers on the Shanghai Shenghua of the Chinese Football Super League, will report to the Netherlands' PSV Eindhoven for trial training, Sina.com reported Monday.
The twins' broker said the pair will drill with Eindhoven's first string squad in a two-week training session starting on November 2nd. PSV Eindhoven has won the title of the Netherland's top division for the past two seasons. It invited the twins to train with them as early as July, but they declined the offer for private reasons. The Sun twins are top side defenders on the Chinese Super League and Sun Xiang started playing as a left-back on the national team in recent years. The pair has so far failed to secure place on international teams, despite increased interest from European clubs.
