Royal Mail is expected to launch its online shop front later this month.
It is going to provide consumers with access to small-and medium-sized British retailers and exporters who want to do business in China, but do not have the means to do it alone.
Royal Mail will deal with the documentation needed for the firms, as well as things such as marketing, promotions and customer service.
In return, Royal Mail will receive commissions on the sale of products and revenues through shipping.
