2016年将有200万中国游客到印尼旅游
Tourism authorities in Indonesia are predicting a sharp increase in the number of Chinese tourists in 2016.
印度尼西亚旅游部门预测，2016年来自中国的游客数量将会有显著增长。
Indonesian tourism minister Arief Yahya:
"In 2015, the number of Chinese tourists was 1.3 million, and our projection for 2016 is two million Chinese tourists."
China is now Indonesia's largest market for tourism, followed by Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
To attract more Chinese tourists, Indonesia has joined other countries in relaxing visa policies for Chinese visitors.
"We are granting visa-free stays for Chinese tourists. And then for the attractions, there are around 70 to 80 percent Chinese tourists visiting Bali. Now we are offering new destinations, we are going to have the Admiral Zheng He Silk Road Tour in Indonesia. It will be happening in 10 cities in Indonesia."
