The consumer watchdog group, World Against Toys Causing Harm, named fidget spinners among this year's summer toy hazards.
They say spinners can fall apart and the small pieces can create a choking hazard.
The group is also warning parents about the fire dangers still posed by lithium batteries in hover boards and the potential for injuries from plastic weapons, based on superhero movies.
The toy is under idget spinners are under investigation in Cardiff , after it was revealed that some could pose a choking hazard to children.
Nearly 300 of the potentially dangerous craze toys were seized in Bath by Trading Standards last week.
Bath and North East Somerset Council warned that some included a blade with sharp, pointed edges.
Other complaints included small parts that could easily pop out, and LED lights containing lithium-ion batteries which, if ingested, can cause internal bleeding.
