中国自主设计喷气客机arj21获生产许可
The Civil Aviation Administration of China issued a production certificate for China's first regional passenger jet, the ARJ21, on Sunday.
中国民用航空总局周日向国产客机ARJ21颁发生产许可证。
As China's first self-developed regional passenger jet model, ARJ21 is designed for short and medium flights from big cities to their satellite towns.
The model's first test flight happened in 2008, and it was granted a Type Certificate in 2014. Since the first delivery to aviation companies, ARJ21 jets have carried a total of 15,000 passengers.
With the new production certificate, the ARJ21 can be put into mass production. The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China has received 413 orders for ARJ21 jets so far.
