2015国家最高科技奖无人获得
The annual ceremony of the National Science and Technology Prizes was held on Friday morning at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The Highest Science and Technology Award is left vacant for 2015, the second time this has happened since 2004. It was awarded to Yu Min, a prominent Chinese nuclear physicist in 2014.
Tu Youyou, a Chinese pharmaceutical chemist who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine last year, is not on the winners list.
"The recipients were selected in strict accordance with the assessment standards and procedures. During the review process, no individual or institute recommended Tu Youyou," said an official from the National Office for Science and Technology Award.
"In the future, vacant Highest Science and Technology Awards may become a more common occurrence," said an expert who participated in the review.
Top Chinese leaders Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Liu Yunshan and Zhang Gaoli attended the ceremony on Friday and presented the awards to winners in science and technology.
