德国总理默克尔下周访华
German Chancellor Angela Merkel will pay an official visit to China on May 24-25 at the invitation of Premier Li Keqiang.
应中国国务院总理李克强之邀，德国总理默克尔将于5月24日至25日对中国进行正式访问。
It will be Chancellor Merkel's 11th visit to China since she took office in 2005.
The visit was announced by China's Foreign Ministry at a press conference on Friday.
In addition to visiting Beijing, Chancellor Merkel is also scheduled to visit Shenzhen, a city in southeast China that is one of the country's technology and manufacturing powerhouses.
