Oct. 13 - Chinese President Hu Jintao and President Roh Moo-hyun of the Republic of Korea (ROK) began talks after Roh arrived in Beijing Friday morning.
They will discuss bilateral relations and the situation on the Korean Peninsula, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao. Hu and Roh will have a 40-minute close-door meeting before the official talks in the Great Hall of the People. This is Roh's second visit to China since he took office in 2003. Roh paid a state visit to China in July 2003.
