伊拉克发生一系列汽车炸弹爆炸案
At least 14 people have been killed and many others injured in a series of car bomb attacks in central and southern Iraq, officials say.
伊拉克中部及南部发生一系列汽车炸弹爆炸事故,至少14人死亡、多人受伤。
In the first attacks two car bombs targeted a bus station and a restaurant in the southern city of Basra.
Soon afterwards, bombs were reported to have struck several parts of the capital, Baghdad.
Attacks in mainly Shia Muslim Basra, which was previously relatively peaceful, have increased recently.
In March a car bomb in the city killed 10 and wounded many others. On Saturday gunmen there shot and killed a Sunni Muslim cleric.
The latest attacks follow a rise in violence in recent weeks in Iraq linked to growing political and sectarian tension between the Sunni and Shia communities.
At least 10 policemen were reported killed on Sunday in north-western Iraq in attacks blamed by the authorities on Sunni militants.
