阿富汗政府敦促塔利班加入和谈
The second round of multilateral talks over the Afghan peace process has begun in Kabul.
阿富汗和平进程第二轮多边会谈在喀布尔举行。
Representatives from Afghanistan, Pakistan, China and the United States are trying to work out a roadmap for bringing the Taliban and the Afghan government together for direct talks and to find a political solution to the country's lingering crisis.
Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani has called for the Taliban to come to the negotiating table.
"Any delay by the Taliban at the negotiating table will isolate them more in the eyes of the Afghan people. Those who missed the chance to join the peace process clearly proved that they do not want an Afghanistan with sovereignty, independence, stability and welfare and their aim is insurgency and destruction."
The first round of the four-nation talks was held in Islamabad last week.
