俄罗斯：叙利亚可能成为联邦国家
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Syria could become a federal state if that model proved to work for country.
俄罗斯外交部副部长雅伯科夫谢尔盖·里亚布科夫表示，如果联邦模式有效，叙利亚可能成为一个联邦国家。
He made the statement at a news briefing on Monday.
Ryabkov also said Russia is concerned over Turkey's military preparations along its border with Syria.
"We are obviously concerned about military preparations, increasing activity on the perimeter of the Syrian border. If the governments of the states that conduct these activities intend to use military force to achieve certain goals, this would, in fact, be an absolutely deadly, if I may use such a word, blow to everything that we have worked to achieve until now."
A fragile cessation of hostilities, drawn up jointly by the United States and Russia, has led to a dramatic reduction of violence in Syria over the weekend.
The United Nations' Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said he intends to reconvene peace talks between the Syrian government and opposition on March 7.
