美国航空客机在牙买加“滑出跑道”

An American Airlines plane has overshot the runway on landing at an airport in the Jamaican capital Kingston, in heavy rain, reports say.

Flight AA 331 from Miami, with about 150 people on board, is reported to have broken apart after landing at Norman Manley International Airport.

Jamaican information Minister Daryl Vaz said at least 40 people were injured.

Roland Henry, a journalist from the Jamaica Observer, told the BBC the plane came to rest停止移动 near the beach.

Passengers were visibly shaken by the incident and some had broken bones or cuts, he said.
